Weekend in Prague / Prágai hétvége

Budapest is amazing, but spending some days in Prague in May is awesome. The whole city is spinning around and reflects real eternity, you feel like in a small jewellery box.
Though there are many tourists in the center especially in weekends, you can easliy find peaceful and quiet places to chill out - the city is full of nice bars, cafés, pubs and parks. Useless to mention that on the main shopping street all the exlusive brands are available. If Hermes is presented in a city, it does mean something and not only to fashion victims. Dior has 3 (!!) stores, Prada and Fendi have flagship stores. All on Parizska street.
Two local designers, Klara Nademlynska and Beata Rajska are located only 2 minutes from the luxury stores, having visited them was even more interesting and fun. Worth having a look if you are in town!

Budapest csodálatos és továbbra is kedvenc városunk, de pár nap májusban Prágában megér egy misét. Az egész város sugárzik és pörög, miközben meg tudja tartani ékszerdoboz jellegét. A központ valószínűleg mindig túristákkal van tele, különösen hétvégenként, de azért számos pihensére és kikapcsolódásra tökéletes hely van a városban. A kávézók, a bárok, a sörözők és a parkok tökéletes kikapcsolódást nyújtanak.
Mondani sem kell,hogy a helyi Andrássy úton (Parizska) megtalálható az összes luxusmárka, sokkal több, mint Budapesten. Ha egy városban Hermés kapható, az már jelent valamit, és nem csak a divatrajongóknak. A Diornak 3(!!) boltja van, míg a Prada és a Fendi is flagship boltban kínálja termékeit.
Ami viszont ennél is izgalmasabb volt, két helyi tervező boltjába is eljutottunk. Klara Nademlynska és Beata Rajska minimál design szerint berendezett boltja egy sarokra található a Parizska utcától, érdemes ellátogatni ide, ha Prágában jártok.

Hats and headpieces - COLOURS!! / Kalapok és fejdíszek - SZÍNEK!!

If you know the real secret of the Makány Márta style, one thing definitely comes to your mind immadiately: COLOURS. And not only in our daily or evening wear collections.

In our bridal collections we try to use colours too, though it is not easy. Brides love them, but instead of choosing a colourful look, they get dresses in a simple white or beige (sometimes golden or silver) dress.

But with a breathtaking colourful headpiece or with a gorgeous pair of shoes, they can make a nice twist. We love them. Do you?

Az esküvői ruhákba is próbálunk színeket csempészni, persze ez nem egyszerű. A menyasszonyok imádják a színes ruhákat - általában csak a fotókon.. de az életben mégsem azokat választják a nagy napra. Talán egy kis kiegészítő lehet színes, az öv, egy-egy rózsa..Ezért mi megpróbáltunk trükközni egy kicsit: megmutatjuk, hogy egy lélegzetelállító fejdísszel vagy kalappal, netán egy csodacipővel milyen látványt érhetnek el. Nekünk nagyon bejön. És ti bevállalnátok?

Hats and headpieces - WHITE pieces

It really is difficult to choose the most gorgeous hat from Eva Varhegyi's collection. But one thing is sure: every woman or bride finds her perfect piece. Woman can be modern, extravagant, classical, fashion follower, natural or romantic, one piece definitely draws her attention.

We have been thinking a lot about choosing between veil and headpiece. Veil is more classical and romantic, but headpiece can be more diverse. Or you can mix the headpiece with the veil, as it is in the pictures below.

You have the right to decide, we have the power to show you the direction. At the end of the day, the aim is to feel amazing and confident in your outlook.

We met Eva Varhegyi a couple of years ago and immadiately fall in love with her hat designs. She is one of the talents we admire and listen to. Besides our favourite make-up artist Zita Sipos, of course :)

Last week Esther&Gabe from BellStudio took some pictures of the hats and when we saw the photos we were amazed. Would be a big mistake not to share them with you.

Esküvő Classic editorial part 2 - summer field by Makány Márta

Here I am with the second part of the editorial, with a very colourful, amazing look. I really got into the mood by only taking a look at the inspiring photos. It's springtime again!!!

Esküvő Classic editorial part 1

And here we are with the photos of Lola shooted by Esther&Gabe for Esküvő Classic magazine. We had been asked for this photoshoot two weeks before the actual shoot was done, but our first thought for the photgraphers were Eshter&Gabe, if they were in Hungary. And thanks God, they were and immadiately said yes.

Makány Márta dresses from a different view

Two years ago Zita Csaszari called us to ask for some dresses for a special wedding-style photoshoot she did with her team as a reference work. We were happy to help her,and delighted after having seen the results. Later we continued working with Zita in two image campaigns.
