"Paris, je t'aime"

When thinking about Paris, quite different thoughts come to people’s minds: for some it’s the most romantic city on Earth, for others it’s the mecca of fashion. It’s famous for it’s perfumes and gastronomy. Painters, authors and filmmakers find home and inspiration, here. The sightseeing should start with the Eiffel Tower, which is celebrating its 120th birthday this year, but also Notre Dame, and Louvre are essentials.

We can find thousands of tiny, traditional food stores, wine bars, cafés with 3-4 tables in the city. I suggest a delicious coffee in Quartier Latin, one of my favourite quarters. If you’ve wished to ’sacrifice’ on the altar of fashion, there’s always Champs-Elyseés and the two eachother’s rivals: Galleries La Fayette and Printemps. Walking along Avenue Montaigne, filled up with designer stores or Rue du Fauborg Saint Honoré you can really get the feeling both of french style and elegance.
